The wood used to make the Adirondacks is clear Western Red Cedar which is impervious to moisture. Which means it will never decay like most other wood used.
The legs and frame are made of 2 x 4 stock to make the chair stable, durable and strong.
The furniture is coated with an oil-based semitransparent stain to give them an appealing color and additional water resistance.
Brass screws that hold the chairs together are rust resistant and will not deteriorate over time. They also add a distinctive look.
